I’ve been taking Tonalin CLA for almost 4 months. Two pills twice a day in junction with a fat burner. I exercise 6 days a week for over an hour each time.
I’m not really seeing much results ? I’m 33 yrs old - around 102-104 pounds. I dont exceed a 1,500 calorie a day diet and I watch what I eat. I think Im doing something wrong ?

Well theres a couple things, how tall are you? are you SURE you want to be less than what you weigh already? My suggestion to you however is to find out how many calories you need to sustain the current bodyweight….1500 seems to be a little much for that weight and w/ the working out as much as you are (not sure about intensity) you’re probably just cancelling out the calorie balance and not losing weight.
1 lb = 3500 calories. If you are eating 1500 calories a day to MAINTAIN weight (this number will change once you figure out the exact number according to your body) = 24500 calories/ week. if you are working out daily and burning say 400 calories/ day = 2800 calories burned per week. If you keep your burn per day through workout constant….you need to reduce calories by 100 a day.
In theory there is no plateau that a lot of people speak of…when youre larger and use a certain equation to get down to a weight then once you reach a point you’re no longer moving forward, its because the calories being burned and teh incoming calories are now balancing out and you’re only maintaining body weight. At that point, you need a rehaul of your diet and reduce the calories coming in AGAIN….and eat less.
Also, key factor to the CLA is using 3.4 mg a day which is 4 pills….or 4 mgs….not the 2 that you’re taking currently.

What you’re doing wrong is taking a fat burner. CLA is actually a fatty acid, so a fat burner will “burn up” the CLA. Taking the two together cancels each other out (as if you were taking nothing at all). Ditch the fat burner and up your dosage of CLA. Most people say they saw results from increasing from 2-3 pills a day to 4-6. You’re pretty small, so I’d say taking 3-4/day along with your existing exercise program should do the trick.

depending on the concentration of your pills you may not have been getting the most effective dosage unfortunately. the research shows that 3.4 g of CLA will produce the results. check the dosage on your bottle to see. most pills are about .6-.750 mg of CLA. if thats the case you that may be the reason you havent seen the results. If your pills are the 1,000mg then I dont know. also the research shows that cla works better for people with higher bF% at 104 lbs it doesnt seem like you would be in that category.

Hi, I am 5′3″ and 130. I want to get down to 105 pounds since i am overweight. Will tanolin cla work well on someone like me? How much pills should I take if the tanolin cla i buy has 1000mg each pill? 3 or 4
